So John -finally- doesn’t care what people think.

Someone kindly asked me if I could post -or reblog- this drawing  without the photo I based the work on (rude hobbits…)

Ok no problem. Here it is :)

I don’t usually reblog stuff but well, for reasons

junejuly15:

Yes! It’s GIVEAWAY time again. Why, you may ask? … Well, I recently passed 7000 followers (hooray!) and I simply love to make gifts …

So, as usual, first things first - here are the rules:

  1. You must be following me
  2. Likes and reblogs count alike and you can like/reblog as often as you want
  3. The giveaway ends on December 2, 2013 (early enough to send and receive those gifts for Christmas :)
  4. I ship worldwide, and you must be willing to give me your full address
  5. The winners will be chosen by a random number generator

There will be three winners, and I’ll pack three boxes of goodies from the following lovely things:

  • 2014 Official Sherlock wall calendar
  • Sherlock - The Casebook
  • Glossy print of Sherlock and John Watson (A4), signed by Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (printed autograph, sorry)
  • Third Star DVD
  • Absolutely gorgeous fanart by AnnaCarrota and Keepsfollowingmeeverywhere. She very generously printed some of my favourite Sherlock/Ben art for this giveaway (A4 glossy prints). You cannot buy them anywhere, you can only win them :) - And I’m so sorry for the bad pics, they cannot do the beauty of those drawings justice at all
  • Sherlock Fanart: Sherlock after the fall by the lovely Khorazir (a very beautiful book signed by the artist)
  • Various cards: Sherlock, Johnlock and Cabin Pressure

Good luck, my lovelies … and thank you so much for following me :D

Well I chose the greenish one

So yeah, I’m on holiday.

I know I don’t say much but this time I just wanted to share my happiness and Sherlock’s excitement ;)   -his face comes from this work  based on Bride of Frankenstein

See you soon!

Based on the wonderful fic Train of Thought part of “The Day they Met” series by the fabulous, the amazing, the marvellous atlinmerrick

"John and Sherlock meeting because they’re crushed together on the tube, John steadfastly staring at Sherlock’s chest, Sherlock looking down at John, both realising something’s happening between them"

I tried to capture that moment, when they looked into each other’s eyes and love happened -found love on the tube and John also found ‘something’ in his hand :) I guess they were on the Hammersmith and City Line, my line when I was living in London.

*Done! I can go on holiday now. Bye!*

Sherlock and Moriarty in:  “BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN”

For the latest letsdrawsherlock challenge: Draw Sherlock Holmes in your favorite scene from a film/tv show/anime!

Bride of Frankenstein is one of my favourite movies of all time, the first sequel to Frankenstein. In the film Dr. Frankenstein is forced, “encouraged” by the Monster (or Frankenstein’s creature) to create a mate for him. When the Bride is brought to life and sees the Monster she screems in terror. He tries again, takes her hand but she rejects him.

This is the scene I chose to draw. I adore Elsa Lanchester’s bride, her amazing hair, the look, the expression… I think Sherlock would make the perfect bride for  Moriarty, who was born to be his repulsive companion.

-I tried to emulate, to recreate the old movie, black and white classic style of the film-

Scene video (you tube ‘The Monster meets his Bride’)

Bride’s reactions -fear, scream…
